Heritage
A taste born of sun and time
Qurt was born of the need to keep milk on long journeys and stayed with us as part of the culture. It was valued for its density, rich taste and the way it keeps without fuss. We protect that character. A clean composition, an expressive texture and the salty, tangy taste remembered from childhood.
-
The nomads' road
Qurt was easy to carry and needed no special storage, so it became a natural part of life on the steppe.
-
An everyday ritual
Nobody tasted it like a delicacy, people simply ate it. On the road and at home, with tea and in soups, as part of a calm everyday table.
-
A modern reading
Today qurt is valued for being natural and for the story it carries. We packed this taste so it is easy to take along and bring home.
- 6 months shelf life
- 250 pieces per pack at most
- 14 regions we deliver to
- 50 packs per order on the site
How to serve
Three roles of qurt
A dried cultured milk ball served as a snack, with tea or as an ingredient.
-
With tea and on the go
Small balls are lovely with tea and ayran, on a trip or a walk. Dense, salty and full of milky flavour.
-
In the kitchen
Qurt is dissolved in broth, added to sauces and soups and used as a salty, tangy note in salads and hot dishes.
-
As a gift
A neat bag of qurt becomes a gift that carries the story of the region. People bring it to family and friends as a taste of Uzbekistan.
